On Memorial Day 1969 the Wilmington Memorial Library was dedicated in the memory of four young Wilmington servicemen who lost their lives in Vietnam.  Their names are John A. Rich, John J. Fullerton, Jr., Robert W. Parent and Richard W. Welch.  The library will host a display the last week of May that includes portraits, newspaper clippings, and photos of local monuments that help tell the story of who they were.  Plan on stopping by the library to learn more about these young men and to honor their memory.
