Marta Gaglia, Assistant Professor, Department of Molecular Biology and Microbiology, Tufts University School of Medicine, will talk about how viruses operate, focusing on the interaction between viruses and infected cells, and the hunt to uncover the mechanisms viruses use to control host gene expression through the exploitation of cellular pathways.  The talk will be geared to a general audience.
