VIRTUAL PROGRAM: Mindfulness for Children (and their caregivers)

Friday, October 1610:00—10:45 AMVirtual Event via Zoom

The class, led by Sheryl White, is designed to practice mindfulness with the children and adults virtually, while modeling for the adults how to get the children to be more aware and in the present moment. Mindfulness can help children increase their attention span, focus and concentration, improve memory, better social functioning, self-esteem, reduces stress, and can improve relationships with parents.  In the virtual class there are simple and fun activities to encourage mindfulness and relaxation so that everyone can see it in action. The instructor uses a bag of props to engage in sensory activities to help practice being more present.   Ages 3-6.
