VIRTUAL EVENT: Learn to Hand Sew a Face Mask

Make your own two-layer cotton mask with teen volunteer Sreehitha! Using this pattern, indicate which size mask you would like to make, and all materials, including precut fabric, a needle and thread, straight pins, elastic, and adhesive nose bridges will be provided. Sreehitha will demonstrate the running stitch, and several volunteers will be on hand if you need one-on-one sewing instruction in a breakout room. Participants will need to provide scissors.

Grades 6+ & Adults

Register to reserve your take-home kit to pick up via curbside the week of the session, and join Brittany for a Zoom tutorial on day of the program!

(Call or text the number on the sign outside of the WML's parking lot entrance when you arrive to pick up your Crafternoon kit. Curbside service is available to pick up your kit beginning the Saturday before the Crafternoon will take place until the Thursday afternoon of the Zoom tutorial. Curbside is available: Monday-Thursday, 10 am-6 pm & Friday-Saturday, 10 am-4 pm.)

This is an online event via Zoom. An invite will be sent two hours prior to the start of the program to the email given at registration.
