Monday, March 72:30—3:30 PMVirtual Event via Zoom

This presentation highlights fifteen women painters over the past five centuries. We will view the works of the court painter to Elizabeth I, the drama of Artemisia Gentileschi, the glamour of Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun, the maternal work of Mary Cassatt, the boldness of Georgia O’Keeffe, and more. You will have a better understanding of the tremendous contribution made by women artists over the past five centuries. Presented by Martha Chiarchiaro, founder of Seeing History, who brings history to life through art and has been doing so for more than 30 years. Martha received her Master's degree in History of Art from Williams College.
