Dan Kennedy, Associate Professor of Journalism at Northeastern University, regular panelist on WGBH-TV’s Beat the Press, and writer of the blog Media Nation, will talk about the importance of the free press in a civilized society and threats that the free press is facing in the U.S and abroad.  Mr. Kennedy will also touch upon his recently authored book The Return of the Moguls: How Jeff Bezos and John Henry Are Reinventing Newspapers for the Twenty-First Century.
