The Galápagos, located approximately 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, is a collection of volcanic islands and a nature lovers dream. Through the process of natural selection, the Galápagos are teaming with endemic species found nowhere else on earth. Join Scott Santino Education Manager and Teacher Naturalist at the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary for a virtual tour across many of the larger islands and learn about Giant Tortoises, Marine Iguanas, Flightless Cormorants, Darwin's Finches, and penguins swimming in Pacific waters along the equator.  Brought to you by the Andover and Wilmington libraries.

This program is part of the Wilmington Earth Year Series and is partially funded by the Friends of the Library 2019 Annual Appeal.
