Saturday, June 1210:00—11:00 AMOff siteWilmington Memorial Library175 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington, MA, 01887

Join nature enthusiast Dinah Borden at Rotary Park to explore pond life! Budding ecologists will be given a quick lesson on some common insects and creatures that live in ponds, along with an insect identification key and provided with a net to sweep the water and collect creatures that we’ll observe in trays, try to identify, and then release back into the pond. Participants should wear boots or old sneakers as they will likely step in mud.

Grades 6-12

This program will take place at Rotary Park; we will meet on Adelaide Street, directly across from the Wilmington Public Safety Building at 10 am, before walking over to the pond together.
