Suzanne Crooker, who has worked in the vegetable department at Mahoney’s for several years will tell you all you need to know to start and sustain an organic vegetable garden.  Topics include soil conditioning, planting and harvesting schedule, fertilizing techniques, and insect and disease identification and controls.  

The library is hosting a gardening group that will meet monthly on different days of the week March-September.  Each meeting will feature a speaker plus time afterward to socialize and learn from each other.  Plan to bring your questions and start growing
