The first part of this workshop will discuss how a home can be change using universal design concepts that make the home more suitable as the residents age. Strategies to pay for these home changes will also be discussed. Presented by Evangeline Bates a certified aging in place specialist, and Jack Wang, an independent financial professional planner.
The second part of the workshop features Leslie May-Chibani, Assistant Director from Minuteman Senior Services who will talk about Massachusetts’ unique aging statewide network, Aging Service Access Points, and the long term services and supports that enhance consumers’ health, well-being, and independence.
