The Wilmington Memorial Library and Tewksbury Public Library are partnering up to provide a special local history program on what transportation was like in Wilmington and Tewksbury in the 19th and 20th centuries.  This program is sponsored  in collaboration with the Wilmington Historical Commission and Tewksbury Historical Society. A special thank you to Wilmington Town Museum Curator Terry McDermott for her assistance.

In these 3 interrelated presentations, UMass Lowell librarian & train photographer Ron Karr will discuss the railroad history of Wilmington & Tewksbury, "Trolleys of the Merrimack Valley" author Kevin Farrell will explore the trolley history of both communities, and Earl Hupper, whose family owned the Tew-Mac Airport, will share his stories.  Each presentation will last approximately 30 minutes, followed by a brief audience Q&A.
